This work is built from re-entering familiar space repeating rote movements, attitudes and behaviours. The two videos are collaged from two long shots disassembled and layered. It questions reverence and irreverence. Through repetition, looping, scale, and space the work isolates the figure, her actions and her contact with herself. In this piece I'm interested in discomfort, ritual, familiarity and disconnect.
